Ever give your girl jewelry? Check out this story from A.C. Green’s clubac.com

It's a story about the young man who found a locket he liked at a jewelry store and gave it to his girlfriend… They later broke up, but he still liked that locketlocket so much he began buying one to give to each successive girlfriend.

When he finally found the girl he would marry, he went to look for a present for her. Sure enough, he got her the same locket. She was thrilled when she opened the box, but even though he liked the locket, it was no longer special. He had given the same gift to a lot of girls.

Think about it.

Don't Fall For It!

You can learn a lot about being strong from the Ironman.
It’s a different kind of power.
Check out what AC’s about these days:

About A.C. Green

A.C. Green, who currently owns the NBA Ironman title, having played in 1,192 straight games and has won a world championship ring with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1999-2000 season, now has a new passion in his life. He wants to bring racial reconciliation through the world.

A.C.'s heart is also dedicated to working with youth. Because of his love for young people, A.C. established the A.C. Green Youth Foundation in 1989, with the main focus on sexual abstinence education. Through his "I've Got The Power " abstinence curriculum, A.C.'s mission is to help young people build self-esteem and character, and learn moral and ethical principles which will help them make responsible decisions.

When A.C. Green was in high school, he played basketball at Benson High
School in Oregon. While he hoped that he would someday play in the NBA, his
hope was just a dream. Upon his graduation from Oregon State University,
A.C. was drafted in the first round by the L.A. Lakers and went on to win 3
NBA championships with the Lakers. He was known for his commitment to the team
and for his endurance. But that’s not all that sets A.C. apart. A.C.
attributes much of his success to a decision that he made as a teenager.

His Decision

"I made a decision. I resolved not to be with a woman until I married. My convictions were obvious when I joined the Lakers but not proven, so a few players taunted, teased, tempted and tried me to see if I’d hold up my standards.
'Hey wait ’til you see what’s waiting for you,' they said.
'How much do you want to bet A.C. can’t stay away from so and so?' one said. 'I’ll bet twenty dollars he can't,' said another. Still another piped up with, 'Count me in for a hundred dollars.'

'You won't last two months in the NBA,' one of the guys told me. Some even threatened to set me up with women they knew. 'Let's see how strong you really are,' they said. Eventually they got tired of the game and started believing in me.”
