Goodnight Sunshine

Goodnight sunshine.
Sweet sounds of bitter days gone by,
Drifting, floating in the sky.
Glowing moonlight takes its place,
Leaves sprinkle dust upon your face.
Goodnight sunshine the day is done,
The stars take shape to replace the sun.
The clam waters have now set in.
Night symphonies slowly begin.
Goodnight sunshine of such grace,
The winds and air begin to lace.
Sleep peacefully until the day,
And glisten brightly as trees sway.
Let the stars lay out their subtle sign,
Hello moonlight.
Goodnight sunshine.
