In September of 2002 I had a little girl named Cassandra Mae. The hardest part of my pregnancy was telling my parents because they are very well-known in our town. I never once considered abortion. I've done enough research in the past to know how horrible it is. A fetus feels pain very early in the pregnancy. I couldn’t give her up for adoption; it would be too hard. So we decided to raise her, and I wouldn't give it up for the world. I am still planning on going to college and we will become a family. I'd do the same exact thing if I had to do it over again. Cassie is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She reminds me to be mature and never to take anything for granted.
